Retire using foreclosed, single-family income properties We still use this spreadsheet ourselves for our own properties and acquisitions to make sure we cash flow and are getting a good deal! June 2008 rent checks. Revenues up 4% from June 2007 despite the "recession." Compare this revenue increase to that of many publicly traded companies reporting huge losses. Admittedly, our results are in part because the demand for rentals has simply increased (but also because tenants don't like to move once they're settled in and will just pay the rent increase). Slow and steady wins the race.
