I strongly recommend that you give Speed Reading Secrets a chance to give you the reading skills you deserve. I hope to be welcoming you to our speed reading family soon. I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Education, where we have a huge volume of material thrown at us in a short space of time. As a result of using Jims speed reading techniques I have been able to read four books in the time I used to read one. I almost feel guilty going through and learning the contents of assigned books so easily.

My reading speed went from 319 words per minute to 673. I confess that I've cheated a bit with the exercises so I know I will be able to read even faster. The biggest surprise is that my reading comprehension has increased significantly. I find it easier to concentrate and experience hardly any disruptive thoughts during reading. This used to be a problem and I am grateful that it is gone. Remember a LOT more of what you read without slow re-reading and going over the same tedious material again and again. Its silly to think you have a bad memory Ill show you how to encode the material properly while you read so you can easily access the information in your mind weeks or months later...

I cannot believe how easy it is to read faster. I started out reading 282 words per minute - now I read 916 wpm for novels, and 632 for more technical reading! For the first time what I read is clear as a bell. It's like you say Jim, going slow gets in the way of understanding. Now THATS how you save time.
